The Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) says more than 10,000 candidates got involved in examination malpractices in the on-going UTME examination in Anambra State have been handed over to the appropriate authority.

Mrs Lynda Nwachukwu, the Coordinator of the board in Anambra revealed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Awka on Saturday.

NAN reports that the all Computer based test (CBT) mode 2017 UTME, which begun on May 13 in 642 focuses across the nation, finished on May 20.

Nwachukwu said that the examination, which occurred in 28 centers in the state, was fruitful.

"There was no disturbance of the activity in any of the examination centres,'' she said.

The organizer said that the competitors clung entirely to the necessities of the examination, including that JAMB gave every one of the materials required to the examination.
